Garima Agarwal, a freelance Photographer, passionate about photography of various sorts and variations, with special inclination towards Travel and Documentary. Born and brought up in India, she took up photography three years back while she was juggling with her job in a Fashion Marketing firm. She is a post graduate from the NIFT, and a rider by passion.
Her works have been published over various print and online media including The Pioneer, the Indiatimes.com, Roots of India and several platforms on Instagram. Her photos have got exhibited in various Exhibitions including Lalit Kala Academi, 2015 (group show) and Nicefoto, An International Amateur Photography Exhibition, 2014 (group show). She is a recipient of the Jury Commendation award for her photography work in TOTO Funds the Arts Awards, 2015 for her project named “Galaxy from my Viewpoint” which has also got published in Tasveer Journal. Her work got selected and exhibited in Indian Photo Festival, 2016
She wants to contribute towards woman empowerment, supporting work in the area of under privileged section and creating a changed environment by influencing society. She has a deep routed love for travelling and new discoveries. Traveling with little more than a bag of clothes, she wants to make her way across the continents, exploring the globe with her camera.
